Fall Baseball- Midget

LSR Offers the next stages of baseball for 11 and 12 year old players. At this level with their peers, players continue to build and refine their fundamental baseball skills while they begin to dive deeper to learn things like leading off base and picking off base runners.. The kids pitch from a 50' mound while playing on 70' base paths. The games to get very competitive so we request that all players, parents and coaches remember that is all about a game and having fun playing it. Please help us make this level a positive experience for all involved.

Midget registration begins in January and the teams start practicing in mid-March. Teams typically practice 2 day a week at either Rosemont Forest East Park, Landstown Middle School, or Salem Middle School.At this age we participate in the Virginia Beach Recreation Baseball League (VBRBL) with games being played all over the Cityunder the lights on weeknight starting at either 6:00PM of 8:00PM.The VBRBL is made up of the following recreation leagues: Arrowhead-Point of View Recreation, Creeds Athletic Association, Courthouse Recreation, Kempsville Recreation, West Kempsville Youth Association, and Woodstock Recreation Our teams participate each year in the VBRBL All Star Tournament that bring the best players from each 6 associations in the VBRBL..
