Larkspur Recreation was founded in 1968. As our Virginia Beach grew, the Larkspur- Salem area grew, and Larkspur Salem Recreation was created.  LSR in partnership with Virginia Beach's Parks and Recreation department, the Larkspur and Salem community has been efficiently managing and administering youth athletic programs in a safe, fun and educational environment. Our athletic programs are built on fair play, integrity and sportsmanship. We have programs starting at the age of 4 years old to 18 years of age. Those programs are Baseball, Softball, Football, Cheer and Basketball.

We are a 501(c)(3)  all volunteer nonprofit organization with all registration fees   and sponsorship funds going directly to support our youth athletic programs.
